Names in Minutes
During a Safeguarding Reference Group meeting, concerns were expressed that names were being included in minutes of meetings when referring to pastoral issues and safeguarding concerns. Due to the sensitive nature of the topics, it was felt that names should not appear in minutes for pastoral and elder’s meetings; likewise, with prayer chains, the name should only be published where consent has been obtained.
