Choir Recording

Martin Morris recordingMartin Morris, of Grange URC Choir, reports in April 2021....

We're a happy band of amateur singers who just love to sing! The pandemic changed the way we did it. Each of the choir came together, separately one by one, to a room in our church to record their voices. These were then mixed with backing tracks to make the individual voices sound like our choir.

Since the virus we have recorded eight hymns and these are now available, for a donation, on a CD or Music mp3 Download. Our album is called Together-Apart because we were when recording them. The link to the Choir ordering page is as follows:

We're asking for a donation for each CD/Download via Just Giving.  All money donated will go to the RNLI Hoylake Lifeboats, as one of our congregation is a volunteer there who presents to the local community about the work they do. Those who know the choir are aware that we normally sing outside a local Tesco at Christmas time to raise funds for them. This was not something that we could do last Christmas.

Our suggested donation is £5 per copy of either a CD or download – or more if you prefer! Of course, you are able to have a copy of the CD or music download without making a donation and this option is on the order form. Once you complete the form and submit your order you will be taken straight to the JustGiving donation page so that you can make a donation on-line. CDs will be distributed within a couple of days of receipt of an order.

Thank you all for your continued support. Please do visit our YouTube channel for videos of the recordings which can be used to enhance your own worship.
