Margaret Worrall, of Peasley Cross URC, attended a Royal Garden Party in May 2019 and reports back: "We had a lovely day. The gates opened at 3pm, there was a long queue but we quickly got into Buckingham Palace gardens. We were greeted with a cold drink followed by afternoon tea.
"The Queen, Prince William and his wife Kathryn came out at 4 pm, although with 8,000 people there we couldn't see them at the beginning. We had a walk around the grounds and then had an ice cream. At 5.40pm the guards came out all in their red uniforms. We did get on the front row and saw the Royal party coming out of the Royal marquee and walk back to the Palace."
