  • 30% have a nominated eco person/group

  • 50% of those without one want support to get started

  • Barriers: lack of people/resources, other priorities

🌍 Environmental Awareness

  • Highest awareness: Global/local climate impacts – 3.8/5

  • Other areas average around 3:

    • Carbon reduction

    • Biodiversity

    • Encouraging eco-living

  • Areas to grow: Worship & prayer integration

🏅 Eco Church Awards

  • 43% aware of Eco Church

  • Of those, 70% registered

  • 40% achieved Bronze or Silver Awards

📉 Carbon Footprint

  • 9% have measured emissions

  • 43% want help to measure and reduce them

💧 Energy & Water

  • 8 churches provided usage/spend data

  • 40% use renewable electricity

  • 30% want info on potential suppliers

🌱 Supporting Members to Live Green

  • 1 in 3 churches actively support members to live more sustainably

  • 40% of others would like guidance on how to do this

  • Resource each church to nominate an eco lead/group

  • Raise awareness of Eco Church while respecting capacity limits

  • Help churches measure and reduce energy and water usage
