URC welcomes UK’s recognition of State of Palestine

Mersey Synod URC welcomes the UK’s recognition of a Palestinian state as a step towards justice, peace, and the dignity of all people. As followers of Christ, we affirm the God-given right of all communities to self-determination and to be heard in the work of peace. We pray this decision will encourage a just end to suffering and a renewed hope for all in the region.
