Listed Places of Worship

Operated by Historic England, both funds are competitive schemes, and no longer only relate to reclaiming VAT. They are both two stage application processes, with the submission of an Expression of Interest, then if successful an invitation to full application 6 weeks later. There will be two deadlines per year. A minimum of 20% contribution is expected.

Newly introduced criteria: priority will be given to those that fall (or serve) an area of greatest need, measured through the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD 1 - 3) and assessment will also be made against data from Community Needs Index.
