An Uplifting Evening of Worship at Grange URC
Grange URC in Higher Bebington was filled with joy and song on Sunday 20th July, as the church family gathered for a very special event – Coffee, Cakes, and Choruses. It was the first Sunday evening service since Covid in 2020, and there was a real sense of gratitude and anticipation as friends, families, and even a few new faces came together once more in worship.
The evening was inspired by the words of Psalm 95:1-2: “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” With voices lifted in praise, heartfelt testimonies shared, and laughter flowing freely over coffee and cake, the atmosphere was one of warmth, fellowship, and renewal.
It was a simple yet deeply meaningful service, a chance to reconnect, to celebrate God’s goodness, and to welcome others into the life of the church. Everyone left uplifted, encouraged, and eager for more.
The congregation offers their heartfelt thanks to all who came along and helped to make the evening so memorable. With plans already stirring for future gatherings, Grange URC looks forward to many more opportunities to worship together and to extend an open invitation to the wider community.
